FIRESI®MODUL Fire Suppression is a non-pressurized fire protection system. It is a homologated, fully automatic extinguishing device for the protection of the engine and transmission compartment of buses, wheeled, rail and tracked vehicles.
In the operating state, the entire device is completely depressurized. ABC or BC powder or liquid potassium acetate (CH3CO2K) can be used as a fire extinguisher. The device is homologated according to EHK 107 (TÜV SÜD certification in 04/2019) and its design corresponds to STANAG 4317 (issue 2), ČOS 235002 (1 issue, revision 2).
The device has a simple design, easy operation and low purchase and service costs. The device does not consist of any elements subject to periodic pressure tests.
